When We Are Closed

NHS 111 is the non-emergency number. It’s fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

If you need a doctor Out of Hours (i.e. when the surgery is closed) please call NHS 111.  They will take your details and arrange for a doctor to speak with you for advice or arrange a visit if necessary.

More information is available from www.nhs.uk/111

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
