Patient Reference Group

The practice set up a Patient Reference Group (PRG) to feedback on the range and quality or our services and where we can improve. Our aim is to reach a representative group from across our patient population. We still need new members so if you would like to make a difference please ask in the surgery for a form. To make it as easy as possible for both you and us, it will be a virtual group so you will not be required to attend meetings, unless you wish to. This means communication will be though email, post or telephone and completing on-line surveys for those that are interested.

What will be involved?

The main role of the group is to give us feedback through simple surveys and you will be asked a series of simple questions on how we are doing. Initially these questions will be based on existing information we have available to us via the results of the GP survey carried out by the Government each year but you will be asked if there are other areas that you feel we need to improve on.

We will publish the survey results along with our proposals to improve the areas highlighted as in need of change. You will then have to let us know if you agree with our plans. At the end of the improvements we will publish the results of our achievements.

Interested but would like more information?

We have produced some frequently asked questions to provide you with further information to help you make your decision please ask for this at reception.
