All our other doctors are sessional GPs that are not based at the practice on a permanent basis, they do currently have regular sessions.
Our Healthcare assistants supports the nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as blood pressure and weight measurement, wound care, ear irrigation on the advice of a GP or Nurse, ECGs, B12 injections and NHS Health Checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Looks after the day-to-day administration of the practice. She will try to sort out any problems you may encounter in using our facilities.
Your first point of contact with the practice. They will try to meet all your requirements. Advice they give is strictly to guidelines laid down by the practice manager and the doctors.
They will help you with any hospital referral questions and any insurance medical appointments.
The health visitor works closely with the doctors in caring for families, especially those young with young children.
Three nurses are based at the Health Centre, Nevells Road, Letchworth and care for the nursing needs of any housebound patients.
Our midwife works with us in maternity care and attends the Tuesday Antenatal Clinic.
